Part of the tuning process is reading spark plugs. I see it way too often, people get hung up on the oxygen sensor and trying to only tune to that. That can lead you down the wrong path, and get you in trouble. Most modern EFI systems allow you to do individual cylinder tuning, but in order to do that you have to pull the spark plugs. This is what I did for in between race outings! But if you are in the beginning stages of the tune, you should be pulling plugs every pass.
