I know this is not my normal video, but I wanted to share some basic info on how to make your own disinfecting solution, in case you run out or cannot find any on the shelves. This is a very easy way to make a hard surface disinfectant with common household bleach that is diluted. This solution should be effective against coronavirus, covid-19, norovirus and lots of other common virus/bacterias. Always follow manufactures guidelines if available, and if absent the CDC is currently recommending 1/3 of a cup of bleach to 1 gallon of water or 4 tablespoons of bleach to 32 oz of water. This solution should be changed daily and not stored in a hot environment or in direct sunlight as this will decrease the ppm concentration over time. This is perfect for using on hard surfaces that are common touch areas (door handles/knobs, tables, chairs, light switches, toilets, lavatories, phones, computers, phones, etc.). Never mix bleach with an ammonia based product. Go to CDC website for additional guidance as these recommendations could change from time to time!
