The more boost you make, generally the more back pressure you have. It seems that these wastegates lowered the back pressure at the same boost pressure! That is amazing, and should open our tuning world up some and let us make more power. Back pressure is the pressure in the headers, pre turbo. Extremely high backpressure causes reversion in the overlap cycle of the cam. That robs power. These Black Sheep Industries wastegates are awesome.
